Atlanta Mold Analysis Laboratory, Spore Trap Analysis Lab and Air O Cell Lab has focused on mold and its effect on our health for many years. Atlanta Mold Analysis Laboratory has now integrated that knowledge with spore trap and other mold analysis into a mold lab report, unique in the industry, to better meet the needs of those who provide and explain the report to their clients. In addition to the customary identification of mold spore types and quantity, our spore trap analysis report separates mold spore types into relevant groups and features a photograph of what is found on the spore trap trace together with particulate identification and count.

 Photographic Evidence
Our Mold Analysis Laboratory reports include a photograph taken by our microscope camera of mold spores found in a sample that represent the condition of the indoor environment. This will allow you to better explain the mold sample analysis and its significance to your client.

 Background Particulates Identified and Quantified
Commonly used spore traps also capture particulate from the sampled air. Some particulate can cause allergy symptoms even when mold spore counts are low. The combination of high particulate counts with elevated mold spore levels can make symptoms even worse. The amount and type of particulates can therefore be significant in resolving issues for your clients.

Most environmental labs list the background levels of particulates in spore traps as low, moderate, or high. Atlanta Mold Analysis Laboratory enumerates the background particulate and identifies the kind of particulates recovered. If specific particulates need to be identified in more depth, a Material Science analysis is also available.

Use of Three Agars to Culture Bulk, Dust and Swab Samples
Most mold labs use only one or two agar for identifying and enumerating mold colonies on culture plates. Atlanta Mold Analysis Laboratory uses a three agar system for culturing bulk, swab and dust samples.

Our mold analysis report also includes a glossary and an organism list describing the type of mold spores recovered and their potential health effects, as well as remediation guidelines and links to web sites that can assist in remediation.
